Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned America’s terrorist attack, said- “Our condolences are with the victim’s family”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the horrific terrorist attack in America’s New Orleans city. Terming the attack as a ‘cowardly act’, he expressed deep condolences to the victims and their families.
Prime Minister Modi wrote on his official social media account, “We strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist attack in New Orleans. Our prayers and condolences are with the victims and their families. In these tragic times, we all have to stand united and fight against terrorism.”

It is noteworthy that during the New Year celebrations in New Orleans, a speeding pickup truck rammed into the crowd, killing 15 people and injuring many others. The attacker has been identified as Shamsuddin Jabbar, 42, a Texas resident and former US Army soldier. Police have declared him a terrorist, and recovered two homemade bombs and an ISIS flag from his car.
Police say that the driver deliberately rammed the truck into the crowd and then started firing from inside the vehicle. American officials have called it a terrorist attack. Dozens of people have lost their lives and many are injured in this attack.
After this attack, US President Joe Biden also condemned the incident in a press conference and said that the country is facing a serious threat of terrorist attacks. Meanwhile, security has been tightened in New Orleans, and the incident is under investigation. The local administration has appealed to the citizens to remain alert and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
