AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana in the capital today. Under this scheme, the new government of Aam Aadmi Party will give an amount of Rs 18 thousand every month to the temple priests and Gurudwara priests.

AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “The name of the scheme that I am going to announce today is Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal fiercely targeted BJP after announcing the Pujari Granthi scheme before Delhi elections. He said that just as efforts are being made by BJP to stop Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana, similarly efforts should not be made to stop the schemes of priests and grants.

AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said on the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana, “It is the duty of every party to make its policies according to the need of the society and work for it… If we go to the houses of priests of temples and granthis of Gurudwaras. So we will see that his entire family lives in a small room in the temples. Those priests do not make their children doctors, engineers because they want their culture and tradition to be passed on to the next generations… It is the duty of the government to do something for these people… They will be given an honorarium of Rs 18,000 every month…”
