President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and members of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country made the first sea voyage in the Caspian Sea on a new vessel built in the Russian Federation.

The high-speed passenger ship “Rakhat” built in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation is intended for tourists. The ship is 33 meters long and has a cruising range of 100 nautical miles, has all the amenities for passengers, their comfortable sailing and recreation.
During the sea voyage, the head of state discussed with members of the government the issues of further development of the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.
Turkmenistan orders ships for its merchant fleet to well-known shipbuilding enterprises abroad, including in the Russian Federation.
