President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was welcomed at Luanda Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport by Tete Antonio, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, and Alp Ay, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Luanda.
President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın also arrived in Luanda.
President Erdoğan, who will start his official talks tomorrow, will be welcomed by the President of Angola, Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, with an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace. The two Presidents will hold a joint press conference after tete-a-tete and delegation meetings.
Addressing the Angolan Parliament, President Erdoğan, Dr. Antonio Agostinho will visit the Neto Monument and attend the Angola-Turkey Business Forum to be organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK).
