Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Indonesia was the chief guest country on India’s first Republic Day and it is a matter of great pride for us that when we are celebrating the completion of 75 years of the Republic, Indonesia is once again this historical opportunity. Has become part of I heartily welcome President Prabovo Subyanto to India. “
“During my visit to Indonesia in 2018, we carried forward our partnership as a comprehensive strategic partnership. Today, various aspects of mutual cooperation with President Prabovo were widely discussed. Work will be done in manufacturing and supply in defense sector to increase cooperation in the defense sector. We have also given a party on cooperation in maritime security, cyber security, prevention of terrorism and de-redressalization. The agreement in maritime security and safety will further strengthen our cooperation in prevention, discovery and rescue and capacity building. Our bilateral trade has increased in the last few years and last year it exceeded 30 billion dollars. ”
Indonesia President Prabovo Subianto said, “I want to repeat my highest gratitude for the honor given to me in my first state visit to India. Today the President welcomed me with great respect. There was a very intensive and very clear discussion between Prime Minister Modi and his government and my government. We discussed many major areas of shared interest. We want to increase the level of cooperation in the economic field. I have instructed my team to speed up regulation, reduce bureaucracy and put the shared bilateral interests of India-Indonesia at the forefront. ”
