PM Modi meets Pope Francis, will attend the first session of G-20 Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a five-day foreign visit to attend the G-20 Summit. He reached Italy on Friday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Vatican City and met Pope Francis. The PM will attend three sessions of the G-20 summit in Rome. The first session will start at 3.15 pm, where we will discuss the global economy and health reforms from the Corona Pandemic. After this, from 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Prime Minister Modi will meet the Presidents of France and Indonesia. Also, the Prime Minister will also meet the Prime Minister of Singapore.

After these bilateral meetings, Prime Minister Modi will participate in various programs organized for the G-20 summit. Briefing about the Prime Minister’s visit to Italy, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that there is no agenda set for talks at the Vatican.
