Panipat, Haryana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the LIC ‘Bima Sakhi Yojana’ and laid the foundation stone of the main campus of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University. Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi said, “The way Haryana has adopted the mantra of ‘If we are together, we are safe’, it has become an example for the rest of the country.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “During the elections, all you mothers and sisters had given the slogan ‘Mhara Haryana, Nonstop Haryana’. We all have made that slogan our resolution. Now the Bima Sakhi scheme has been started here to provide employment to the sisters and daughters of the country. I congratulate all the sisters of the country.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “If your sisters did not have Jan Dhan Bank accounts, the gas subsidy money would not have come directly into your account, the help you get during Corona would not have been available, it would have been difficult for daughters to get the benefit of Sukanya Samriddh Yojana, which gives higher interest… Women had their own bank accounts so they were able to take Mudra loans… Those who did not even have bank accounts are now connecting village people with banks as Bank Sakhi…”
