PM Modi addressed the 116th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, said this-
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 116th episode of Mann Ki Baat program today i.e. on Sunday. Let us tell you that apart from 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program was also broadcast in 11 foreign languages. Mann Ki Baat was broadcast on more than 500 broadcasting stations of All India Radio (AIR).
During this, PM Modi said that “Next year is the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. This time it will be celebrated in a special way. On this occasion, ‘Developed India Youth Leader Dialogue’ will be organized at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi on 11th and 12th January…about 2000 youth from all the states, districts and villages will participate in it.

PM Modi said that today is NCC Day. As soon as we hear the name of NCC, we remember our school and college days. I myself have been an NCC cadet, so I can say with full confidence that the experience I gained from it has been invaluable to me. NCC inculcates the spirit of discipline, leadership and service in the youth. You must have seen around you that whenever any disaster occurs, be it flood, earthquake or any accident, NCC cadets are definitely present there to help….”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I have called from the ramparts of the Red Fort to such youth, whose entire family has no political background, to enter politics. Many special campaigns will be run in the country to connect one lakh such youth and new youth with politics. ‘Developed India Youth Leader Dialogue’ is also one such effort.”
In the 116th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Thousands of kilometers away from India, there is a ‘mini India’ in Guyana. About 180 years ago, people from India were taken to Guyana to work in the fields and for other jobs. Today, people of Indian origin living in Guyana are leading Guyana in every field of politics, business, education and culture. The President of Guyana, Dr. Irfan Ali, is also of Indian origin and is proud of his Indian heritage.”
During this, PM Modi said, “Many Indian families have been living in Oman for many centuries. Most of the people settling there are from Kutch of Gujarat. “A team in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Oman and the National Archives of India has started the work of preserving the history of these families.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I have come to know about another such effort being made in Slovakia which is related to the preservation and promotion of our culture. Here for the first time our Upanishads have been translated into Slovak language. These efforts also reflect the global influence of Indian culture. It is a matter of pride for all of us that there are crores of people across the world who have India in their hearts…
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “’Ek Peed Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. People from all over the country participated in this campaign with great enthusiasm. Now this initiative is reaching other countries of the world also.
