As a result, the Vietnamese women’s futsal team had a difficult 40 minutes against the Taiwanese team. The 2025 Asian women’s futsal qualifying round has 18 teams competing, divided into 4 groups (2 groups of 4 teams and 2 groups of 5 teams). The first and second place teams in each group and the third place team with the best record will win tickets to continue. 12 teams, including 9 teams that passed the qualifying round, along with host China and 2 teams that reached the finals of the previous tournament (Japan, Iran) will participate in the finals taking place in China from May 7 – 18, 2025.
The 12 teams are divided equally into 3 groups, playing in a round-robin format to calculate ranking points. The first and second place teams in each group, along with the two third-place teams with the best records, will continue to play in the quarter-finals.
