The Kings League final, the unique football championship created by Gerard Piqué, will arrive on October 14 at the La Rosaleda stadium, which has a capacity for 30,000 spectators. An event that, however, in recent hours has been involved in controversy due to the initiative of its president in a Twitch broadcast: giving away double tickets for the Kings and Queens Cup finals in exchange for getting into a century-old fountain in which bathing is not allowed.
It all happened during a live program in which Gerard Piqué, the journalist Gerard Romero, several streamers and a reporter who was live in the central Plaza del Obispo, next to the Malaga Cathedral, where a fountain dating back to the 19th century is located. 18th century, surrounded by several young followers of the Kings League.
It was then that Piqué asked the reporter to tell the fans that he would give away a double ticket to the Kings League final to anyone who bathed in the fountain.

The municipal ordinance of Malaga expressly prohibits bathing, playing games or entering decorative fountains, even for special celebrations if the mandatory authorization from the City Council is not available. These behaviors are considered minor infractions and can be punished with a fine of up to 750 euros, as stated in article 37 of the aforementioned regulations.

After delivering the three tickets, Gerard Piqué also asked the reporter to save two passes for “if someone jumps off the fifth floor or something,”although after Gerard Romero’s insistence the former soccer player agreed to retract and withdraw the comment.

Gerard Piqué’s ‘hooliganism’ to give away tickets for the Kings League final in Malaga has reached the ears of the mayor of the capital of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, who in statements reported by the newspaper The Opinion of Malaga,has reprimanded the former footballer for his initiatives: “Málaga is not a school for hooliganism but for training citizens,” commented the first mayor of Málaga.
