Who will get itPost of Lok Sabha Speaker?
The election of the new speaker of Lok Sabha is to be held on Wednesday, June 26. But the picture is not clear yet about the stand of the ruling and opposition parties on this. According to sources, the BJP-led NDA is demanding that the election of the Lok Sabha Speaker be done unanimously as per tradition. The opposition parties also agree to this, but they are also saying that according to the same tradition, the post of deputy speaker should be given to the opposition. It is being said that some Congress leaders are insisting on making 8-time MP K Suresh the opposition’s candidate for the post of deputy speaker. The opposition had also demanded that K Suresh be made the pro tem speaker as he is the most senior member of the House, but the government handed over this responsibility to BJP leader and seven-time MP Bhratruhari Mahtab in his place. The government says that K Suresh has not become an MP for 8 consecutive times, so he was not made the pro tem speaker as the most senior MP.

Which issues can India Alliance raise in Parliament?
According to sources, the alliance of opposition parties ‘INDIA’ can raise many important issues including the large-scale rigging in the NEET UG examination for medical admission in this session of Parliament. These include issues like the recent train accident in West Bengal, Manipur violence, caste census, inflation, implementation of new criminal laws passed in the last term of the Modi government, sudden surge in the country’s stock markets after the exit polls and the terrible fall on the day of the election results. On the very first day of the new Lok Sabha, opposition MPs including all the big leaders of the Congress protested in the Parliament premises by holding the Constitution in their hands. This attitude of the opposition is indicating that the upcoming session of Parliament can be very tumultuous. Kharge has also indicated many such issues in his social media post, which the opposition can raise in the Parliament.
Prime Minister Modi Ji used his customary words more than necessary today. This is called, the rope burnt but the strength did not go away.
The country was hopeful that Modiji would say something on important issues.
