After the hangover from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it is now the turn of the Paralympics. Thomas Bach already highlighted at the closing ceremony the importance of this event, which will take place from 28 August to 8 September 2024. As with every edition, it is hoped that these Games can offer a new opportunity to capture the attention of spectators around the world and to make the inclusion of people with disabilities visible. As can be seen in the video at the top of this news, the so-called ‘City of Light’ is putting the finishing touches to ensure that these Paralympic Games are held as successfully as possible.
