The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are now in their seventh day of competition, after a successful Thursday for Spain, with four medals won. This Friday, the activity of the Spanish athletes will begin at 9:00 with the participation of David Puig and Jon Ramh in the second round of the individual golf stroke. Later, the big events will arrive in which there will be medals at stake. This is the case of the synchronized diving final on the 3-meter springboard (11:00), in which Adrián Abadía and Nicolás García will compete. The pair formed by Jaime Canalejo and Javier García will also try to score a medal in the coxless rowing final (11:30), and Aina Cid and Esther Briz will try to do the same in the women’s event (11:42). After midday, Sara Sorribes and Cristina Bucsa will compete in the doubles semi-finals in tennis, where they could secure another medal for Spain. Continuing with tennis, Carlos Alcaraz will face Canadian Felix Auger-Aliasime in the semi-finals of the individual event, in search of securing a medal. Meanwhile, the Spanish sailing team, made up of Diego Botin and Florian Trittel, will also want to win a medal in the final race (13:13), after the event was cancelled yesterday due to unfavourable weather. Likewise, there will be a chance of a medal in the 10,000m athletics event (21:20), in which Thierry Ndikumwenayo and Abdessamad Oukhelfen will participate. Boxing will also offer two chances of winning a medal for Spain, with Rafael Lozano (16:34) and Ayoub Ghadfa (22:08) contesting the quarter-finals in the 51kg and 92kg categories, respectively.
