The Paris Olympic Games are now in their tenth day of competition, after a bittersweet Sunday, in which Sara Sorribes and Cristina secured the ninth Spanish medal, but Jon Rahm let the tenth medal slip away at the end. This Monday, the first chance of a medal could come from 8:00, time from which Alberto González, Anna Godoy, Antonio Serrat and Miriam Casillas are already competing in the mixed triathlon modality. Later, canoeists Maialen Chourraut (15:30) and Manuel Ochoa (15:52) will compete in the quarterfinals of kayak cross in their respective categories, with the option of advancing and competing in the final this same day. At 17:30, the women’s 3×3 basketball team will face a direct match for a medal in the semifinals, with the possibility of fighting for gold in the evening (22:00), if that is the case. Another strong option for Spain to play metal will be at 18:00, when the men’s football team will face Morocco in the semi-finals. As for other delegations, the highlight of the day will be the participation of Simone Biles in two finals: parallel bars (12:38) and floor exercises (14:23). Also, the Swede Mondo Duplantis will compete in the pole vault final around 19:00.
