The Pakistani navy revealed on Tuesday that it had intercepted an Indian submarine while trying to enter its territorial waters a few days ago.
The Pakistani military said in a statement that the navy is working intensely to protect the country’s maritime borders.
He added that on October 16, the coast guard prevented an Indian submarine from attempting to enter Pakistani waters, stressing that it was the third attempt of its kind recently observed, without mentioning the dates of the two previous incidents.
The Pakistani navy had intercepted two attempts by an Indian submarine to enter its waters in March 2019 and November 2016, according to the correspondent of the Anadolu Agency.
