Own report: At least three people have been killed and 20 others injured in a suicide bombing in Pakistan’s northwestern city of Quetta on the Afghan border. The three dead were paramilitary personnel. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to sources, the plan was to attack the Frontier Constabulary Guards camp in Mia Ghundi area near the Afghan border. At least 20 people were injured in the blast, police official Azhar Akram told AFP. There are many ordinary people among them.

Eighteen of the injured, security guards and police officers, said the death toll could rise. According to a Balochistan spokesman for the Counter Terrorism Department, the blast was a “suicide attack” and was carried out near the Sona Khan checkpost.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has blamed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan for the incident. Pakistani Minister Sheikh Rashid has claimed that the attack took place near a checkpoint.
