Jitendra Singh Shanti has been MLA from BJP in the year 2013. After the resignation of Ram Niwas Goyal, it is considered certain that he will get the ticket from Shahdara. During the press conference today, Arvind Kejriwal announced the joining of former BJP MLA Jitendra Singh Shanti in the Aam Aadmi Party.
Shanti is also the founder of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Seva Dal Foundation for the last several years. In 2013, he won from Shahadar C on BJP ticket. Shanti has also been a councilor twice. Shanti has so far cremated 70 thousand dead bodies. During the Corona period, when people did not take the dead bodies of their relatives, Shanti used to perform the last rites of those dead bodies. Shanti herself has donated blood 106 times so far.
