The danger of third wave of corona is increasing in the country. Meanwhile, in South India, there is a rapid jump in the speed of the new variant of Corona, Omicron. Till now there was only one case of Omicron in Tamil Nadu. But within a single day, 33 new cases have been reported in the state. Now the number of Omicron in the country has crossed 250.
So far 34 cases of Omicron in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu Health Minister MA Subramanian says, ‘Total cases of Omicron variant in Tamil Nadu have now increased to 34.’ This variant of corona virus has now knocked in 17 states / union territories of the country. On Thursday, 33 new cases of Omicron were reported in Tamil Nadu. With this, a total of 257 cases of this variant have been reported in the country so far.

65 in Maharashtra and 57 in Delhi Omicron cases
Earlier, Omicron also knocked in Haryana on Wednesday and on the very first day 6 new cases came in the state. On Wednesday, 14 new cases of Omicron were reported in Telangana, 9 in Kerala, 4 in Rajasthan, 3 in Delhi, 2 in West Bengal and 1 in Andhra Pradesh. The maximum 65 cases of Omicron have been reported from Maharashtra so far. At the same time, Delhi is at number two, where 57 cases have been confirmed. Telangana is at number three, where 38 cases of this variant have been detected so far. At the same time, 24 cases have been reported in Kerala.

6 cases of Omicron in Haryana, travel history of 3
So far two cases of Omicron have been detected in Uttar Pradesh. Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Anil Vij told the Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday that 3-3 cases of Omicron have been reported in Gurgaon and Faridabad. All three patients from Gurgaon have travel history who had returned to India from UK via Dubai. All the 14 new cases found in Telangana on Wednesday are of medical tourists. Of them, 2 have come from Britain while 12 have come from Kenya and Somalia.
