Ombre silk dyeing is a manual technique of dyeing and changing colors to create new materials with unique characteristics on Vietnamese silk. Trung Dinh is one of the pioneering designers who uses this technique to design unique ao dai, bearing a distinct creative mark.
“The properties of ombre dyeing will create light and dark areas, helping to design outfits that cover the wearer’s flaws. This dyeing technique will create two identical fabric surfaces that cannot be distinguished from the left or right side. If you use the printing technique on fabric, you will see the white side inside. This is also a way to distinguish fabrics,” the designer shared.
Collection The season change has just been introduced within the framework of the Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City 2024 Tourism promotion program in Australia.
