Novak Djokovic has been eliminated from the Rome Masters in the round of 32 by Alejandro Tabilo. Two sets (6-2, 6-3) were enough for the Chilean to beat the Serbian, in what was only the second match for the top winner of grand slam in the Italian tournament.
Having not played the Madrid Masters last month, Djokovic had not seen any activity since Monte Carlo. So this Sunday, the world number one has surprisingly fallen in what was his return to the courts after a month of rest. For his part, Tabilo continues his path in the Rome Masters, placing himself among the 16 best tennis players in the tournament. In the second round, the Chilean will face the Russian Karen Khachanov.
