The entire board of directors, lecturers, staff and students of the school unanimously support the tournament and accompany the tournament to contribute to organizing a healthy and professional playground for student players.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan – match supervisor of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) emphasized that no matter how fierce the competition for the two spots in the final round is, teams must prioritize the health of their players, Do not allow players who do not meet health conditions to participate in competition.

The 9 teams in the northern region are divided into 3 groups and the teams with the best results will play play-offs to select 2 representatives to enter Ho Chi Minh City to attend the finals taking place in March 2025. In the first two seasons, the North was the region whose representative became the runner-up, which was the Thuy Loi University team.

Coach Vu Van Trung of the Thuy Loi University team commented that this season will be a challenging season for the reigning runner-up.

“For Thuy Loi, the goal is always to appear in the final round. Student football is like that, it always changes every year, as one generation graduates, another enters. There are up to 7 players who are the mainstays. The team graduated after season 2 and the coaching staff boldly brought many new student players to compete this season,” Mr. Trung shared.

Coach Vu Van Trung said he still evaluates teams with traditions and specialized sports groups such as Hanoi University of Sports Education and Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

“The big challenge for Thuy Loi University this year is when other teams have more players who have played in the U.19 and U.21 tournaments participating according to the new regulations of this year’s tournament, but Thuy Loi only has pure players. student player. However, the Thuy Loi University team will certainly still be very determined, carefully study their opponents and the first goal is to pass the qualifying round and win the right to enter the final round,” coach Vu Van Trung said.
