The seminar on Northern Europe on 2025 was made under the theme of “Leadership and effective management, promoting innovation and transformation: Experience of Northern Europe and Vietnam”, according to information from the Embassy of Northern European countries in Hanoi.
The parties have contributed to sharing experiences and practices on the transparent and effective management system, meeting the needs of businesses and people, creating favorable conditions for economic breakthroughs and fast and sustainable social development.
At the seminar, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Duong Trung Y, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, highly appreciated the experience of leadership and national administration under the Nordic model, thereby focusing on innovation, digital transformation and effective management in order to sustainable social development. He said that the Nordic model is very useful for Vietnam in the current context.
Nordic countries have long been recognized globally with the effective and highly adaptable management system, bringing valuable lessons on innovation, transparency and building public trust. And the discussion sessions go into important topics such as digital transformation in public administration, decentralization of management and promoting innovation culture, continuous improvement.
Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi said that the management work is most effective when it is covered, innovated and taken to the center. “The sharing of these experiences will help us all further in improving the quality of public administration on the globe,” according to the Ambassador.
For his part, Denmark has always held the world’s leading position for e -government for many years. The success of Denmark shows that digital transformation not only strengthens the strength of the community, improves the efficiency of public services, but also enhances the confidence in the institution and promotes the participation of citizens, Danish Ambassador Nicolai Prytz said.
The Finnish Ambassador Keijo Norvanto affirmed that the country is the leading country in ensuring transparency, reliability and promoting innovation, thereby building a sustainable management system, taking the people as the center.
In addition, the Norwegian management model focuses on the balance between the central and local governments, and encourages the participation of people to create more comprehensive and adaptable management systems.
Norwegian Ambassador Hilde Solbakken emphasized: “We have witnessed the great value of mobilizing people’s participation in creating more flexible management mechanisms. Through experiencing and sharing ideas, we can work towards an effective and more responsible public administration.”
