No Kohli, Rohit opener; Aakash Chopra announces 2021 Test XI with 4 from India

2021 was an eventful year for Test cricket. Cricket grounds were reactivated after the Covid crisis. The ICC’s first World Test Championship took place this year. New Zealand defeated India in the final to win the title. Despite India’s brilliant performance, captain Virat Kohli’s poor form was disappointing. Aakash Chopra has said on his YouTube channel that the first name that comes to mind when thinking about the 2021 Test XI is Rohit Sharma. Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne was the second opener. This year he scored a double century.
