The singer Nick Carter faces a third lawsuit for sexual assault, this time, by a woman who claims she was raped when she was 15 years old.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Jane Doe was sexually assaulted in 2003 by the Backstreet Boys member, when he was 23 years old; Likewise, she was subjected to the consumption of “alcohol and drugs.”.
The complainant claimed that the American singer forced her aboard a yacht and a tour bus; causing the infection of sexually transmitted diseases.
“The impacts of Carter’s sexual abuse are relentless, causing plaintiff severe emotional and physical distress, intimacy issues, and other complex trauma,” Jane Fone’s attorneys wrote in the lawsuit.
Nick Carter’s attorney, Dale Hayes Jr., said authorities investigated the case two decades ago; However, there was not enough evidence to prosecute him.
“This woman has repeated the same false claim she made back then, and that doesn’t make it any more true,” the representative told TMZ.
