The Nifty 500 Value 50 index will consist of 50 companies from its parent Nifty 500 index, selected based on their ‘Value’ score.. The Value Score for each company is Earnings to Price Ratio (E/P), Book Value to Price The ratio is determined on the basis of (B/P), Sales to Price Ratio (S/P) and Dividend Yield. The weighting of a stock is based on a combination of the stock’s value score and its free-float market capitalization.
