Supreme Court verdict on NEET UG 2024: The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave its verdict on the controversial NEET-UG 2024 exam. The court has refused to conduct the NEET exam again. The counseling process for admission to medical colleges will start from tomorrow i.e. Wednesday, July 24. While giving its verdict in the case, the court, citing the committee report of IIT Delhi, has declared the 4th option for the 19th question of Physics in the NEET exam as correct.
NEET UG exam will not be held again
A Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud refused to order a re-examination for the NEET-UG 2024 exam after students alleged paper leak. The Supreme Court says that cancelling the entire exam is not justified. While giving the verdict, the court will refuse to accept the sanctity of the NEET exam as violated and did not find sufficient evidence for this.
