Lawyer’s response to NTA’s argument
According to Live Law, the petitioner’s lawyer told the Supreme Court that the NTA has argued that the reason for students scoring higher marks in the NEET exam this time is the reduction in the syllabus. How many of those who changed centres were in the top 1.08 lakh: CJI
The Supreme Court further discussed two possibilities related to the NEET paper leak. CJI Chandrachud said, “One possibility is that the paper was leaked before it reached the lockers of the banks. This means that it happened before May 3. The second possibility is that the paper was leaked when it was being taken out of the banks and sent to the centers.” While hearing on the increase in marks and the alleged paper leak, the Supreme Court has also asked the NTA to tell how many of the students who changed the examination center were able to make it to the top 1.08 lakh and is there any trend in favor of those who registered on 9 and 10 April?
