The Ministry of Education has formed a high-level committee of experts under the leadership of former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan to ensure transparent, smooth and fair conduct of competitive examinations through the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Higher Education Department of the Ministry said that the 7-member committee will make recommendations regarding improving the mechanism and data security protocol of the examination process and the functioning and structure of the NTA. The committee will submit its report to the ministry within two months.

The committee headed by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan includes Hyderabad Central University Vice Chancellor Professor BJ Rao and former Delhi AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria. This panel formed by the Ministry of Education also includes Professor Emeritus of IIT Madras Civil Engineering Department Prof Ramamurthy K, co-founder of People Strong and board member of Karmayogi Bharat Pankaj Bansal. Apart from these, IIT Delhi’s Dean Student Affairs Prof Aditya Mittal is also present in this committee. Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Education Govind Jaiswal has been included as Member Secretary.
