Own report: Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is visiting India for the first time at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. April 2 is his first official visit to India. The visit marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Israel and India.
During his visit, Bennett will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior government officials, as well as members of the country’s Jewish community. It is hoped that the visit will re-establish important ties between the two countries.
The purpose of the visit is to advance and strengthen the strategic alliance between Israel and India and to expand bilateral relations. Bennett and Modi will discuss innovation, economics, research and development, agriculture, and more.
Regarding the visit to India, the Israeli Prime Minister said, “I am delighted to have my friend Prime Minister Modi pay his first official visit to India and together we will strengthen the country’s ties. Indian culture and Jewish culture – relying on deep and meaningful cooperation “.

Incidentally, the two leaders first met at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow last October, where Prime Minister Modi invited Bennett to pay an official visit to the country.
