It is this love of yours that holds us back from being broken. My children and I seek refuge in the love of those who flocked to pay their last respects to PT despite the fog in Idukki and the sun in Kochi! We are moved to tears by the slogans of those who gathered on the roadsides of Idukki from Kambamedu.
The unstoppable flow of people to the public venues in Kochi is a tribute to PT. We are strengthened by the slogans of the activists and the common people heard during the burial at Ravipuram Cemetery.
In the heat of grief, Rahulji, the comfort you have given me and my children is immeasurable!
We would also like to thank AICC President Sonia Gandhi for inquiring and consoling us about PT’s illness.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Speaker MB Rajesh, Union Minister V Muraleedharan, state ministers, MPs, MLAs and various party leaders are gratefully remembered for paying their last respects to PTI.
AK Antony, Oommen Chandy, AICC, who have joined us tirelessly at every stage of treatment. General Secretary KC Venugopal, KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Ramesh Chennithala, who was in touch with Anunimisham Hospital, Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan, KC Joseph, who was coordinating the treatment, Violaji UDF Convener MM Hassan, VM Sudheeran, K Babu, Benny Behan, who were present at all stages.
Thank you to KPCC Vice President VP Sajeendran, Dean Kuriakose MP, AICC Secretary P Viswanathan and Vellore DCC President Tikaraman who were with us.
Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Tini Tom, Ramesh Pisharody, M Mukesh, Dharmajan Bolgatti, Ranji Panicker, Idavela Babu, Anto Joseph and many others. , Cultural and environmental activists, officials including the District Collector, senior police officials and people from all walks of life came to pay their last respects to P.T.
The oncology team, including Dr. Raju Titus of Vellore Medical College, would like to thank Dr. George Tharyan, Dr. Susan, Dr. Sukesh, Dr. Anoop Devasya, Dr. Roshan Valentine, the nurses, other staff of the hospital, Shaji and the clergy of Vellore Medical College for providing all the facilities there. Dr. SS Lal, who coordinated the treatment, Dr. James Abraham in Cleveland, USA, and Venu Rajamani, the former Ambassador to the Netherlands, were a great relief.

I also remember with gratitude the thousands who prayed for P.T. Idukki-Ernakulam DCC Presidents CP Mathew, Mohammad Shias, PC Vishnunath, Shafi Parampil, VT Balram and Kochi police officers who made arrangements for PT’s funeral.
Dijo Capone was assigned to write and preserve PT’s last wishes. We also fondly remember the alumni of the Maharaja’s, the Kochi Corporation officials who coordinated the funeral at the Ravipuram Cemetery and the Ernakulam Kara Yogam office bearers. May the memories of PT not die in the hearts of loved ones.
