The MotoGP World Championship returns this weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix after a week off. Pecco Bagnaia continues to lead the season standings after finishing second in the British GP, after Aleix Espargaró overtook him at the last moment to snatch victory in a race covered in water in the last stage. Alex Márquez was also the protagonist at Silverstone after winning the race by sprint. At the Spielberg circuit, Bagnaia will once again look for a victory that will allow him to extend his advantage with Jorge Martín, second in the general classification of the World Cup.
