At present, monsoon rains are happening in Kerala and Karnataka
This year, the monsoon arrived in the country earlier than expected. The Meteorological Department had predicted the arrival of monsoon by May 31. But it entered India a day earlier, that is, on Thursday, May 30. Record-breaking monsoon rains occurred in Bengaluru for the last two consecutive days. The Meteorological Department said that the rain in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru broke the record of the last 133 years. The 133-year-old record in any single day in June has been 101.6 mm, but in the last 2 days, Bangalore has received 140.7 mm of continuous rain. This has broken the record of 110.3 mm average rainfall in a day in June. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in many districts of Karnataka including Bengaluru. Today, i.e. on Monday, June 3, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in Bengaluru and it is expected to continue till June 5. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department had predicted the arrival of monsoon in various parts of Andhra Pradesh including Anantapur, Tirupati by this Sunday, 2nd June.
5 June
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy monsoon rains are expected in some districts of the state including Panaji in Goa, Belgaum in Karnataka, Uttara Kannada on June 5-6. Its effect will also be seen in many parts including Anantapur, Tirupati of Andhra Pradesh.
10 June
Monsoon may hit Maharashtra and Telangana on 10-11 June. Apart from this, monsoon rains are also expected in some parts of Andhra Pradesh including Amravati, Guntur, Godavari.

Monsoon can enter Bihar between 13 and 15 June. According to the Meteorological Department, by June 15, it is expected to rain in all parts of the state including Munger, Samastipur, Begusarai, Vaishali, Patna.
Will it rain in UP on this day?
Monsoon may enter UP via Varanasi or Gorakhpur in the third week of June. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon rains are expected in many parts of Purvanchal including Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Mau, Ballia, Gorakhpur between June 18 and 20. There are chances of rain in the south-western areas of UP between June 23 and 25. In such a situation, people can get relief from the heat soon.
