Mongolia’s COVID-19 deaths hit 1,800

In Mongolia, over the past 24 hours, 666 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were detected, CentralAsia reports, citing the country’s Ministry of Health.

Of these, 376 people are persons who had contacts in Ulan Bator, and 290 cases were identified in the regions of the country, the official statement said.

The total number of cases of coronavirus infection since the start of the pandemic has risen to 374,041.

Of the total number of patients currently undergoing treatment in hospitals, 4,248 are in a lung, 4,691 are in a serious condition, 1,207 are in critical and 233 are in an extremely critical condition.

Due to a dangerous infection in the East Asian country, 9 people died per day.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Mongolia has increased to 1,805.
