BJP leader Mohan Charan Majhi will be the new Chief Minister of Odisha. Along with four-time MLA Mohan Majhi (Odisha New CM Mohan Charan Majhi), KV Singh Deo and first-time MLA Pravati Parida will become Deputy CM. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave information about this on Tuesday. A grand swearing-in ceremony will be held tomorrow i.e. on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states are expected to attend this ceremony.MohanMajhi is an MLA from Keonjhar seat of Odisha. The names of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have been finalised in the BJP Legislature Party meeting. A 5-member delegation led by BJP’s Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal visited Patnaik’s residence ‘Naveen Niwas’ and formally invited him to attend the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Wednesday at 5 pm. The delegation, along with state president Manmohan Samal, included senior leaders like Suresh Pujari, Basant Panda, Samir Mohanty and Nityananda Gond.Speaking to reporters, the BJP leader said that Naveen Babu has accepted the invitation and has assured us that he will attend the function.

Meanwhile, a group of elected MLAs went to Puri’s Jagannath temple carrying a card, two coconuts, betel nuts and rice and invited the deity to the ceremony. Parvati Parida said that it is our Odia tradition to invite Lord Jagannath on all auspicious occasions. So, we have come to invite the deity. The party wants his blessings. The BJP state president said that the party will also invite the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president and other political parties to the swearing-in ceremony.

BJP has won 78 seats in the assembly elections
