‘Modi ji, is this true…?’ Taking the support of Malik’s statement, Congress targeted the PM

New Delhi
Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday asked whether Malik’s statements are true after Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik called Prime Minister Narendra Modi “arrogant”. Kharge also shared a video clip of Malik on Twitter, in which he is addressing a function in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri. In the video, Malik can be heard saying that he (Modi) was “arrogant” when he went to meet the Prime Minister on the issue of farmers and they had a fight within five minutes.

In the video, Malik can also be heard claiming that Modi was unwilling to accept that farmers who were protesting against the Centre’s three agricultural laws last year were killed because of him. According to Malik, the Prime Minister asked him to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Kharge said, “The Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Satya Pal Malik can be heard on record saying that the Prime Minister was ‘arrogant’ on the issue of farmers and Home Minister Amit Shah called the Prime Minister ‘Pagal’ (Mad). People holding constitutional posts are speaking with such contempt for each other.
