Congress wants to give reservation on the basis of religion: Modi

These people had talked about 15 percent reservation on the basis of religion and had also said that there is a quota for SC, ST, OBC, it should be reduced and reservation should be given to some people on the basis of religion. Congress expressed the same intention in its 2009 manifesto and in the 2014 Congress manifesto it clearly said that it will never leave this matter. Meaning we will give reservation on the basis of religion. If reservation for Dalits and tribals has to be cut, we will do so. Many years ago, Congress had also implemented reservation on the basis of religion in Karnataka. When the BJP government came there, we uprooted the decision taken by the Congress against the Constitution and against the spirit of Baba Saheb Ambedkar.

Congress wants to snatch the rights of SC, ST, OBC: Modi
