Modi and Amit Shah’s coffin will be burnt; Trains will be blocked; Farmers protest nationwide

New Delhi: Farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri have intensified their protest against the killing of a farmer. The farmers demanded the removal of the accused Union Home Minister Ajay Mishra. Tuesday will be Farmers’ Martyrdom Day. Farmers from different parts of the country will come to Lakhimpur Kheri to be part of the protest.

The coffins of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will be burnt across the country on Dussehra Day on the 15th. The train will be blocked across the country on the 18th. The Kisan Morcha said that the Mahapanchayat will be organized on the 26th as part of the protest against the Uttar Pradesh government.

Last Sunday, the minister’s son’s vehicle crashed during a farmers’ march. Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the incident. Farmers allege that Ashish Mishra was driving the vehicle.

Meanwhile, UP police arrested Ashish Mishra, son of Union Home Minister Ajay Mishra, in connection with the incident. He was arrested after 12 hours of questioning. Police said the accused was not cooperating with the interrogation.

Ashish Mishra has admitted that the vehicle that killed the farmers was his. But Ashish claims that he was not in the vehicle. He has been charged with murder.

Ashish appeared before police for questioning on Saturday. The interrogation took place at the Crime Branch office in Lakhimpur. Ashish has been charged with eight counts, including murder. The apex court had criticized the UP police for treating Ashish as an accused in any murder case.
