After the final night of Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 – Miss Universe Vietnam, Thomas Iris Thanh surprised many people by revealing the sad story she went through. The beauty said that her boyfriend of 3 years passed away from a stroke right during the time she was “fighting” in the beauty arena.
Talking about her boyfriend, Thomas Iris Thanh said he is a “genuine bookworm” and also the most rational person she has ever met. The beauty feels the positive energy he brings. She shared: ” It’s not because you don’t fail or get upset, it’s because you strive to become a better person and be a spiritual support for everyone around you.
For Thomas Iris Thanh, a boyfriend is someone who knows how to listen, understand and is also quite logical. “I’ve known you for 3 years now, it’s been a long time. You are always my biggest spiritual support and always a source of motivation for me to pursue what I like and strive to be better and better,” the top 16 Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 shared.

Regarding her boyfriend’s departure, Thomas Iris Thanh said before that she could not contact him. On December 30, she was shocked to receive news that he had passed away. “At first I couldn’t believe it could happen. We were close to each other from the moment we met, I considered her my soulmate, but I didn’t expect that this would be how our journey would stop,” she expressed.
Thomas Iris Thanh said that after finishing her journey to compete in Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, she wanted to write a post on her personal page to express her gratitude to her boyfriend. The 9X beauty said: “You are my spiritual support, my source of motivation, and the miracle that happened to me. May you return to your final resting place.”
Talking to us, Thomas Iris Thanh added that when competing in Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, she received news that her boyfriend passed away from a stroke. At first she didn’t believe it, but when her friends confirmed it, the girl born in 1999 cried a lot in shock. However, Thomas Iris Thanh did not choose to give up because before that, her boyfriend was also a great source of motivation for her to confidently “fight” in this beauty arena.
“We have known each other for 3 years. You always encourage me to do what I want. You also have your own dreams. But when I got into the top 16, I looked back and saw that you still hadn’t fulfilled your dreams and suddenly passed away. That makes me regretful. You are the person who makes me feel like I can do many things. The fact that you left like that had a big impact on me,” she said.
