Ngoc Chau reunites with her students at designer Thach Linh’s show

As the opening designer for the fashion event series Cosmo The ShowThach Linh has introduced to connoisseurs the latest creations inspired by Dong Ho folk paintings. Through the collaboration with Cosmo The Showshe also wants to convey and spread traditional national ideas to the world.
Thach Linh’s new collection is called Moonlight Drawn by Cloudsincluding 29 costumes that she devoted herself to creating. On stage, the child models showed off their graceful catwalk skills to the cheers of the audience. Although performing at a big event, the children were still confident and comfortable because they had been trained and instructed by beauty queens and runners-up in advance.

In the collection Moonlight Drawn by CloudsThe designer used white and blue as the main colors. According to her, white symbolizes the purity and peace of the countryside and also has the meaning of innocent children. Blue symbolizes peace, a calm sky without storms and floods.
The shape of the costume follows familiar structures such as: ao tu than, ao yem, flared skirt, skirt dup… but is stylized to be suitable. The use of cotton, chiffon, organza and the processing of sewing, applique, embroidery, color-changing dyeing… are commented to be elaborate and sophisticated.
The designer cleverly combined 3D drawing details, Dong Ho paintings, and landscape paintings of some landmarks of his hometown Ninh Binh onto each outfit.

Taking the vedette position in the collection is Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau. The beauty from Tay Ninh showed off a proud, seductive image on stage while still showing off her outfit. The beauty queen said this was a special show as her “colleagues” were all her students at Cosmo Academy. “I not only tried to perform well but also paid attention to how the children performed, encouraged their spirit…”, she said.
Not just a children’s fashion show, Cosmo The Show also aims to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends through unique and practical costumes. The next destination of the program is Bao Loc and Ho Chi Minh City, promising to bring the audience many surprises.
