Microsoft confirmed through a post on social platform X that it is “investigating an issue impacting users attempting to access Exchange Online or the Microsoft Teams calendar feature.” The company has not yet provided any specific reasons for the malfunctions, but has assured that the team is working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
The impact of the outage was widely reported by users in the Netherlands, Poland, France, Italy and Sweden, who reported a variety of problems when trying to use the Outlook email service. According to the website Downdetector, more than 416 problem reports were recorded in Italy today alone, highlighting the sheer scale and severity of the outage.
