People working on devices based on Microsoft’s WINDOWS operating system are facing problems. Actually, due to the disruption in the services of Microsoft and American cyber security company CROWDSTRIKE, people’s systems are shutting down or their screens are turning blue. Due to this technical problem, banking services, international airlines and other emergency services have been affected.
Microsoft has said that due to the service disruption, Microsoft 365 users around the world are facing difficulties in using many apps and services. According to the company’s service health status page, their Azure backend workloads (Azure backend workloadsA configuration change in a part of ) is causing congestion between storage and compute resources, rendering many Microsoft 365 apps unusable.

The status page shows that the cloud service was disrupted starting at 3:26 AM today and is currently experiencing ‘service degradation’. According to a report by the Indian Express, Microsoft seems to have restored some services like Microsoft Defender, Intune, OneNote and SharePoint Online, but services like PowerBI, Fabric, Teams, Purview and Viva Engage are still down.
Microsoft immediately acknowledged the issue and said that they are “committed to handling this matter with utmost priority and urgency while we continue to address the long-term impact to the remaining Microsoft 365 apps that are down.” Meanwhile, Redmond tech giant also said that they will “divert affected traffic to alternate systems to minimize the impact”. Although some services are still down, Microsoft said that they are now seeing a positive trend in service availability.
Cloud service also went out in the Central American region, causing several airlines, including Frontier Airlines, to cancel 147 flights and delay 212 flights. Sun Country ( Sun Country) said they needed to operate 45 per cent of their total flights, and Allegiant (Allegiant) had to delay 27 per cent. In India, SpiceJet and Akasa Air are reportedly facing technical difficulties, affecting bookings, check-ins and flight updates.
