Microsoft Copilot+ PC: Microsoft unveiled two new laptops equipped with advanced features. The new Surface Laptop (new Microsoft Surface Laptop) and Surface Pro (new Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop) are coming with a special type of chipset. It will have Snapdragon X Elite or X Plus ARM processor. The new laptop is equipped with Artificial Intelligence based Copilot+ button. In this way, this laptop is the first set of the company to come with advanced features. The leading tech company presented a glimpse of the new laptop before its Build developer conference (Microsoft Build 2024 developer conference).
How much will the new laptop cost?
Microsoft also announced that at the event to be held on June 18, companies like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung will also be present for select markets. Willingly introduce a laptop equipped with Copilot+ feature. This laptop with advanced features will be available at a starting price of $999. Let us tell you that at present the value of $999 is equal to Rs 83,300 in Indian currency. That means the laptop with Copilot+ feature will be available for less than Rs 1 lakh.

Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop will be made available in two sizes, one with 13.5 inch and the other with 15 inch display. Talking about performance, the company claims that the 13 inch Surface Pro laptop (Microsoft Surface Pro PCs) coming with the new processor is up to 90 percent faster than personal computers with Intel chipset. It will be 80 percent faster than the previous generation laptop.
With a powerful chipset and CoPilot Plus feature, this PC will enable you to do things that you cannot do on any other PC. With the tools available in CoPilot Plus PC, it can be easily found out what tasks the user has done on the PC. This PC comes with new on-device generative AI capabilities.

4 advanced tools debuted with the new laptop
For the first time, 4 new advanced tools are available in Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop equipped with CoPilot Plus feature. Which includes AI based Recall, Cocreator App, Live Captions, and Studio Effects tools.
Use of Recall Instantly tool provided in Copilot+ laptop This can be done to search from documents, images to emails. For example, if you have saved a presentation file and forgotten what name you saved it on the device, then with the help of this tool you can save that file.You can search the file in an instant. For this the recall tool Photographic Memory (Photographic memory) uses such capabilities. A timeline is given on this tool. As you move backwards on the timeline of what you have done on your laptop in the past few days, its image appears on your screen. In this way you can easily search files or work saved in the past. This tool can also be disabled.
Copilot+ Another app available on PC is Cocreate, which is based on generative AI. With the help of this app, a simple illustration or sketch can be converted into a photorealistic picture. AI creates images through Cocreator tool to make it more beautiful, this PC is capable of carrying out such tasks.
Live caption tool is also provided in it. It is being told that this tool is capable of providing captions in English for more than 40 languages being spoken on the screen during live streaming. Similarly, this tool can translate what is said in English into 40 other languages and provide captions during live streaming. Apart from this, Microsoft has also debuted the Studio Effect tool with its new Copilot+ laptop.

Microsoft CoPilot Plus laptop 58% faster than MacBook Air M3
The company claims that the Copilot+ PC based on Snapdragon X Elite or X Plus chipset is capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously. The new Microsoft laptop equipped with Copilot+ feature is better than the 15-inch MacBook Air M3 in terms of performance. Its battery life is tremendous. The company claims that Microsoft’s new laptop is up to 58% faster than the 15-inch MacBook (MacBook Air M3) with M3 chip. It is also being said that once fully charged, this laptop can provide 22 hours of video and 15 hours of web browsing access.
The new features given in it make Windows 11 even better. Due to which all first party and third party apps like Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Chrome, Spotify, Zoom, WhatsApp, Blender, Affinity Suite, DaVinci Resolve work better, The company says that PCs equipped with Copilot+ feature are the fastest and most intelligent Windows devices ever. This is being said to be the most advanced AI model till date.

When will Microsoft laptop with Copilot+ button come in the market?
All Copilot+ PCs are equipped with Microsoft Pluton Security processor and provide personal, private control options. The PC with Copilot+ buttons will be available for pre-order in the US starting this Tuesday. The company says that the initial devices will be built on Snapdragon X Elite or X Plus chipset. Microsoft has informed that Copilot+ PCs powered by Intel chipset, AMD CPU and NVIDIA graphics card will soon hit the market.
