“The Raven” (whose real name was Alberto Rafael Bustillos Alamilla) was born on September 1, 1950 in Veracruz. He studied at the National Conservatory of Music and at the age of 22 he was about to participate in the OTI Festival with the song “I’m not going to war”, which was disqualified, but from then on he became interested in recording albums, doing cultural research before entering the studio. Later he completed a doctorate in Arts.
