A private jet of a businessman known for his closeness to the leader of illegal armed groups from eastern Libya, Khalifa Haftar, will land in Tel Aviv.
This was announced by the Israeli journalist Itai Blumenthal, an employee of the public television company KAN.
Blumenthal noted that the businessman’s plane took off from Dubai and is heading to Tel Aviv.
The journalist drew attention to the presence of some allegations that Haftar received support from Russia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan and France, as well as assistance from Israel.
The KAN employee also said that the plane of the businessman, whose name was not named, will leave for Egypt after Tel Aviv.
There were no comments from the Israeli authorities regarding Blumenthal’s statements.
