Maruti Suzuki recently launched the fourth generation Swift. The new car is now available for sale in the Indian market. Whose price starts from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Swift is a hatchback segment car. It is one of the best selling hatchbacks in India. 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift vs Tata Altroz: Features
Talking about features, 15 inch wheels are available in the new Maruti Swift. It has been provided with LED lighting and excellent grill. The new car is available in a total of 9 color options. If we look at the interior, the fourth generation Swift has got updated dashboard and aircon vents with minor changes. The biggest update is the new floating infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, navigation and connected car technology.
In terms of safety, the 2024 Swift comes with standard features like 6 airbags for the first time. Apart from this, the car is equipped with many features like ABS with EBD, ISOFIX seat anchor point (ISOFIX), stability control, reverse camera, hill hold assist, parking sensor.

On the other hand, Tata Altroz gets projector headlamps, LED DRLs and 16-inch alloy wheels. These features give a sporty look to this hatchback of Tata Motors. The Altroz is bigger than the new Swift. Actually, Altroz competes with Maruti Suzuki Baleno, but compared to Swift, it has a more sporty design. Digital instrument cluster and 7-inch infotainment system are available in the interior of Altroz. Indian car manufacturing company Tata Motors’ Altroz will soon be upgraded to a 10-inch unit, it will also get connected car tech, smartphone connectivity, cruise control and electric sunroof with voice activation. In terms of safety, the Altroz has been given a five-star rating by GNCAP, making it the safest hatchback in India currently.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift vs Tata Altroz: Engine specs
The new Maruti Swift now gets a 1.2 liter 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine. For transmission, manual or AMT gearbox option has been added with the updated engine. Whereas Altroz is equipped with 1.2 liter naturally aspirated or turbo engine. It has manual or dual-clutch automatic options with engines for transmission (DCA) is available.
