Maruti Swift has been an iconic model for the Indian car market. Even though it has been in the market for less than a decade. This small hatchback car remained the first choice of buyers in the Indian market for many different reasons. For almost two decades, Swift has consistently been one of the best selling PVs in India month after month. Television content has also played an important role in increasing Swift’s popularity. The country’s largest car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki can launch the fourth generation Swift in the market next month. First-gen Maruti Swift (2005)
The first generation Maruti Swift entered the Indian market in the year 2005. Along with this, a TV advertisement was played on the screen. In this advertisement, a couple was seen traveling in Swift and they were seen enjoying their first driving experience. Second-gen Maruti Swift (2011)
The second generation Swift was introduced in the market in the year 2011. The main attraction of the second generation model was the inclusion of ABS feature which was shown in TV advertisements of that time.
Third-gen Maruti Swift (2018)
In the year 2018, Maruti introduced its Swift hatchback with the third generation update. This was the first time that an ad for Swift was launched directly on YouTube rather than debuting in a satellite television area. The catchy phrase “Be limitless” was given in the advertisement.
