Maruti Suzuki First Electric Car: The electric vehicle segment is expanding rapidly in India. Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer, is also preparing to introduce a car in this segment. The company is busy making efforts to debut its first electric car. Recently, Maruti Suzuki’s electric car eVX was seen during testing in Gurugram, Haryana. About 6 people were seen in the car. This first electric car of the company (Maruti Suzuki eVX) has been seen on Indian roads on many occasions before. Maruti Suzuki has showcased this compact size electric car in many motor shows organized in the country and around the world. This car can be launched in India next year.

According to the latest images being shared on the internet, Maruti electric car can get special alloy wheels which will be different from the wheels of the car showcased by the company during a motor show earlier. Some pictures of the car seen during testing recently are also being captured on camera. According to this, alloy wheels can be found with 5 spokes instead of 10 spokes. Earlier, 10 spoke alloy wheels were seen. The size of 5 spoke alloy wheels can be 16 inches or more. Recent pictures are revealing the design of the rear door handle. According to the latest images, like the old Swift i.e. the third generation hatchback car, the upcoming electric car is likely to get rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar. The recently seen EV is different from the concept model showcased earlier.

The electric car can come with many exterior features like LED headlight, DRL unit, LED lightbar, high-mounted stop lamp, rear spoiler and shark fin antenna. The company has earlier made many revelations about the interior of the eVX electric car during the showcase. It will have interior features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, front ventilated seats, automatic climate control, electric adjustment for the driver’s seat and auto-dimming IRVM.
The company had said in an earlier statement that the first electric car is being built on the new electric steakboard platform. It is expected to have a battery of 60kWh capacity. The company claims that the eVX electric car can be capable of giving a range of up to 550 km on a single full charge.

Maruti can launch its first electric car in 2025. It is being told that After the launch, the company and Toyota can also introduce electric vehicles by rebadging them in the coming days in mutual collaboration. Let us tell you that Toyota has already introduced Maruti’s Baleno and Ertiga based Urban Cruiser, Highrider, Rumion and Glanza in the Indian market by rebadging them. The company’s first electric car will give tough competition to EVs like Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV as well as upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE.05 and Citroen eC3 Aircross.
