Mark Carney was officially sworn in as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada. Governor General Mary Simon Corne held the swearing -in ceremony at Rede Hall in Ottawa. He was also sworn in by cabinet members. Mark Corne is a former Central Banker. He led both Bank of Canada and Bank of England.
