A marijuana dealer was found dead in an apartment in Brooklyn (NYC) where he was recovering from gunshot wounds to his legs a few days earlier.
A customer who wanted to buy marijuana called police around 10 p.m. Thursday after the unidentified victim did not answer the door of the home on New Jersey Ave., East New York. According to the witness, a person could be seen lying on the ground through the window of the first-floor apartment, police sources said.
The victim had been dead inside the apartment for several days, apparently from the gunshot wounds he had received. An autopsy was pending yesterday, but the police believe that one of the bullets tore an artery in his legcausing him to bleed to death.
Police were also trying to identify the victim. His “client” did not know his real name, sources told DailyNews.
