Dr Manmohan Singh, the architect of India’s economic reforms, took his final year at the All India Medical Institute (AIIMS) in Delhi on Thursday night at around 10 pm. He was 92 years old. He was the Prime Minister of the country from 2004 to 2014. As Finance Minister in 1991, he played an important role in shaping India’s economic structure, for which he gained wide recognition in global financial and economic circles.

He said that he had the privilege of serving as a Member of Parliament and Minister of State for Tourism during the second term of former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh. The actor said that I will always remember my conversation with him and will cherish the inspiration and knowledge I got from him. He said that his departure is a big loss for the country.
